Natalia V. Myakova is a Doctor of Medical Science, head of the Oncohematology Department at the Federal Research Center of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Immunology named after Dmitry Rogachev.

In 1991 Dr. Myakova graduated from the Pediatric Faculty of the 2nd Moscow State Medical Institute Named after N.I. Pirogov. She completed several training courses at the university clinic in Brescia, Italy, Charité clinic in Berlin, Germany, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, USA.

Dr. Myakova has published more than a hundred scientific articles on hematology and oncology. In 1996 she successfully defended her PhD dissertation, in 2002 her Doctor of Medical Science dissertation.

She has participated in numerous Russian and international conferences on oncology.

Dr. Myakova is a certified specialist in oncology, hematology, mammalogy.

Her scientific interests include pediatric oncology and hematology.
